Your metabolism has slowed, during the hours you’ve slept. It has cleared out the toxins, and is now ready, for fresh fuel. Eating breakfast sets the bar, of how your body will perform, for the rest of the day. If you don’t want to get brain fog, halfway through your work day, than you should eat breakfast.

How often to eat
There is much debate, about how often we should eat. Some say to eat three meals a day. Some say to eat six small meals. And others say to eat whenever you’re hungry. Everyone‘s body is different. Try a couple of different routines and see how you’re feeling. If your hungry and grumpy, throughout the day, than eat more often.

What to eat
Carbohydrates are the main source of fuel for your body. Eat plenty of whole grains, fruits and vegetables. These are healthy “carbs”, and will keep you full of energy. Getting enough protein, is key to staying satiated. Tofu, chicken, beans, and nuts, are excellent sources of protein. Our bodies are composed of various protein structures. High protein foods are essential, for muscle health and cell repair. Fat is also crucial, to your diet. Most people, think consuming fat is unhealthy. But our bodies need fat to function properly. Avocadoes, coconut oil, and olive oil contain healthy fats, that your body needs.

Eating breakfast, eating often, and eating the right kinds of food, will ensure your body, gets the fuel that it needs. And your body will thank you.
