Fun, Sun and Sand
All of New Jersey’s 63 public beaches offer fun, sun and sand. Many of them provide lifeguards, restrooms and lovely boardwalks. Each beach has its own charm and feeling, and everybody has a good time when they spend a day at the Jersey shore. Some of the most famous beaches in the Garden State include Long Beach Island, Ocean City, Atlantic City and the three beaches that make up The Wildwoods, North Wildwood, Wildwood and Wildwood Crest.

Long Beach Island
Long Beach Island (LBI) is home to several northern beach towns, including Loveladies, North Beach, Brant Beach, Holgate and Harvey Cedar. Beach Haven, Ship Bottom and Surf City are in the southern part of the 18-mile-long island. A few of the must-see destinations are Barnegat Lighthouse, the Chocolate Bar and Ron Jon Surf Shop.

Ocean City
Ocean City is a wonderful spot for a family-oriented day trip. Enjoy some fun in the surf, and catch a few rays on the beach before you check out the delicious boardwalk food. Head over to Manco & Manco’s for the best pizza in Ocean City. After that, try some crab fries from Chickie’s and Pete’s.

Hustle and Bustle of AC
The most famous city in southern New Jersey is Atlantic City, which is home to some fantastic casinos, hotels and resorts. Steel Pier, the world-famous amusement park, is one of the most exciting family-friendly attractions in the city. Whether you want to gamble or spend the day on the rides, Atlantic City is a great place to visit.

The Wildwoods
For even more fun, continue driving south to The Wildwoods, which has five long miles of beautiful beaches. The Wildwood Boardwalk is two miles of solid fun featuring three piers filled with rides and attractions for the young and young at heart. Nine million visitors each year can’t be wrong. The Wildwoods has some of the best beaches anywhere. Any of the homes for sale in NJ are close enough to the shore for a day trip or a longer vacation.
