While planning a day trip for your child, create a travel size sun safety kit includes all the sun protection essentials. Add sunscreen, plenty of fluids to keep them hydrated, wide-brimmed hat, breathable cotton clothes and sunglasses.

It is best to avoid going outdoors during midday, when the sun rays are intense. Schedule your child’s outdoor activities before 10 am and after 4 pm. If your children are going out during midday, then ask them to play in shade areas.
