1. Ask Dr. Universe

With AskDr. Universe, students can scour through a great deal of questions and make educated guesses on the answers. If you want to know the answers to some of the strangest questions, you can use this site.

Usually, Dr. Universe is available to answer questions asked by students. Unfortunately, she is currently on an extended expedition and unable to answer questions, but the database of past questions and answers are still available on the site.

2. BrainPop

If animated content and learning is what you’re looking for, BrainPop is the place to go. The site contains animated content from quizzes to videos on an array of science subjects.

BrainPop is good for both individuals and entire classrooms. It costs money to use the site, but if you want to make sure it’s the right fit for you, you can opt to use the free trial to make your decision.

3. Bill Nye the Science Guy

BillNyetheScienceGuy was a television show that was found in the home of many children. Thanks to the Internet, Bill Nye’s experiments and messaging lives on through his website. On the site, children can see 40 different demonstrations that can be tried in their own home. They can even watch past video clips from the television show.

Teachers and students can even access worksheets, quizzes and demos to help their students learn.

4. Extreme Science

If you want to see and learn about the extremes of our world, ExtremeScience is the place to be. You can find the deepest part of the ocean, learn which animal is the strongest and find out other information about our world. ?

Students can learn facts about the oceans and volcanoes, and you can even see some of the most bizarre occurrences, such as the biggest wave or the friendship between a dog and an elephant. Students can also access a great deal of videos to learn more information about animals and their habitats.

5. Popular Science

PopularScience is the place to find information. The site belongs to Popular Science Magazine and contains articles and information on all things science, with a main focus on technology.

There is even a section on the site dedicated to DIY, from projects to tools. There is also a grand photo gallery that contains images and information on a great deal of science related items. If you like what you see on the site, you can subscribe to the site, which will send notifications when new information is uploaded.
