Entertain The Kids With Giant Garden Games

Summer has come to an abrupt end as it normally does. The kids are back in school and the weather is beginning to cool down.  The relaxing summer atmosphere is beginning to die down while we unpack from our vacations and load the beach chairs back in the garage for next season. What do we have to look forward to? Football season!

As disappointing as it is to realize that Summer has come and gone way to fast, it is equally exciting to fish your favorite team jersey out of your closet and hope that this year, maybe, your team will make it to the Super Bowl.

Of course we would love to go to every game and be there in person to cheer for our team, but that isn`t always possible. And if you are lucky enough to be able to get your hands on some Season tickets, most likely, you wouldn`t be lucky enough to be able to go to every away game.

Although we can`t physically be at every game, watching it at home with friends can be just as fun and much more affordable when you factor in the cost of the tickets, the eight dollar hot dogs and the even more expensive beer. Some make a ritual out of Monday night football while others have huge potlucks for Sunday games; the point is, you can never go wrong with a Football party.

Although the adults are preoccupied with screaming at the television, the children who attend the football party will no doubt get bored. You need something to keep them entertained and occupied while you and your friends holler at your team as if they can hear you.  Giant garden games, which can be played either inside or outside, are a great way to keep the kids entertained.

We all remember the classic games like Dominoes, Connect 4, Jenga and TIC TAC TOE and they get even more fun when you make them giant! Putting the games on a much larger scale will entertain the kids for hours during your football party and surely the adults will  join in during half time!

Giant garden games are exactly what they sound like—classic games resized to giant proportions.  Giant Dominoes measure about 7″ by 3.5″ by .5.” Giant TIC TAC TOE (also known as Giant Noughts and Crosses)  come equipped with a rope board measuring 47” by 47” and 12” X 12” wooden X`s and O`s.  Giant Tumble Tower (just like Jenga) comes with 56 wooden blocks measuring 8″ x 3″ x 2.” Giant 4 (same as Connect 4) includes a  33″ x 21″ veneer face and 42, 3” diameter plastic coins.  All game sets include a carrying bag for your convenience!

Although Summer is over it doesn`t mean the fun has to stop… for you or the kids! Taking the games we all loved as children and putting them on a much larger scale has only made them better and the great thing about them is that they are perfect for all occasions, for the young, the old and everyone in between!
