The Soka Gakkai International Flag in the past has vertical tricolors of blue, yellow and red. This flag was popular in the USA and Japan. However, there were some groups inside the organization that had their own flags. They were mostly dark blue with a white emblem in the center.
The different flags inside the organization were meant to depict the different sects or divisions. Most of them sported white symbols with a background that was blue. The main or parent organization was a priest- based sect and this is why its flag had the tricolors of blue, yellow and red. You will find that this flag used to be hosted in several cultural centers in the world.
