Women are unfortunately placed in intimidating, threatening or potentially fatal situations daily. This includes in areas where they should feel safe, such as while walking into their workplace or even in their own home. Being able to defend yourself when you face a serious threat is essential. However, some women are not yet confident in their self-defense skills and abilities, and they continue to feel stressed or to place themselves at risk unnecessarily as a result.
