They offer a great selection of draft beers and hand made cocktails and offer a delicious bar menu.

Silvertone

Silvertone is consistently one of the best spots for a quick bite to eat or drink in Boston. It has a fun, casual, almost cheesy atmosphere. They offer all your typical beers and drinks and offer a secret cocktail found at the bottom of their cocktail list that is to die for. It can get crowded but the service is quick and keeps things moving along. Prices at Silvertone are also dirt cheap.

Clearys

Located in Boston’s South End, Clearys is a modern take on a traditional neighborhood Irish pub. They offer a wide selection of draft beers and some of the best food on this list. On the menu you will find all the traditional pub favorites. From potato skins to buffalo wings, every dish you would expect to find at a place like Clearys is there. What sets Clearys apart is the quality of the food. The appetizers are done especially well and are well portioned and priced for the after work crowd.

The Squealing Pig

This after work hangout is a true hidden gem. Located in Boston’s Mission Hill neighborhood, The Squealing Pig offers a no frills pub atmosphere. Hardwood floors, wooden tables, and nondescript chairs complete the relaxed and inviting décor. The menu offers a wide array of traditional fare and new innovations. The traditional items include calamari, wings, Guinness stew, and shepherd’s pie. The Squealing Pig also offers its own unique creation, their Mars bar toastie. This signature dessert features a deep-fried Mars bar on a Belgian waffle with whipped cream, bananas, and strawberries. The Mars bar toastie makes The Squealing Pig worth the trip all by itself.
